We are delighted to inform you that the new
National Community Land Trust (CLT) Network will come out of the
starting gates in 2007 to provide you with access to training,
technical resources, and contacts to help you strengthen and grow
your community land trust. We invite you to become a member
so that you may take advantage of our offerings, and at the same
time, strengthen our nationwide effort as we seek financial support
and greater visibility.

In 2008 we plan to:
- Establish the www.nationalclt.org website as a robust, informative and comprehensive place to learn about community land trusts.
- Provide in-depth trainings at the introductory, intermediate and advanced levels on topics unique to community land trusts through the CLT Academy.
- Create and advertise the existence of a CLT "Starter Kit" online resource.
- Develop an on-line data management tool that will serve CLT needs to track information on homebuyers, tenants and properties.
- Hire an executive director to advance the Network’s mission and work plan.
- Host an engaging, energizing, and educational annual meeting in the fall. We look forward to supporting you in your work to nurture and sustain healthy and economically diverse communities.
