Application Instructions

Direct technical assistance (TA) is awarded through a competitive application process. Your organization must be a member of the Network to apply (see next section). Last year the Network awarded TA services to slightly over half of the organizations that applied.

To apply for 2012 TA submit this on-line TA application no later than 5:00 pm (Pacific) on Friday, February 3, 2012. Awards will be announced February 29th, 2012. Planning for the provision of the TA awards will begin immediately.

The TA Advisory Committee has aligned resource allocation with the National CLT Network’s strategic goals as approved by the board of directors in 2011. There are funds set aside for start-up CLTs, existing CLTs that are undergoing changes or expanding, and CLTs facing challenges with organizational sustainability or the provision of comprehensive stewardship.

When you apply please categorize your application as one of these three types. Additionally, 60% of the Network’s TA resources are set-aside to serve communities of color and other historically underserved communities. TA ‘grants’ range between $2,500 and $11,000.
